FIM’s 2023 edition: Focus on Eco-responsibility
Gérard Monloup, CEO of SPI Forello - Hazovato
Dear exhibitors,
The International Fair of Madagascar is the economic event of the year.
It brings together quality economic actors, innovative investors, small or large, national or foreign, private or public, all convinced that there is a development potential for their activities.
We, the organizers, are the first to be convinced of this. This year, 2023, marks the change of management of FIM.
After the great work done by Première Ligne for 20 years, it is up to us to take up the torch, to carry the flame even further towards innovation and the promotion of economic activity.
However, we must keep our wits about us. What this energy is for if our growth is not sustainable? If we do not accompany our development with that of our natural environment?
To this question, we will evacuate any eco-terrorist solution, any aggressive militancy, any act of violence which would be justified by the urgency to act.
In Madagascar, as elsewhere in the world, we simply need to inform each person, whoever he or she is, young or old, that he or she can perfectly work in harmony with nature. God knows that this nature is generous and how much we love our ambanivohitra (countryside).
Then, we are going to work for each one of us to wake up, at our scale, this love of the nature by simple gestures, by simple decisions, maybe with the help of professionals, but there we go anyway.
For all the Forello-Expo shows in 2023, each exhibitor will commit, with his means, and without any complex, to show the general public how he has thought about his environment.
We all know what we can do, what the solutions are, so let's be proud to continue or start our eco-attitude.
We count on you, thank you and wish an excellent fair to all of you.
